Black Lion Audio first became known for offering custom mods for classic studio equipment, so thinking outside the box is natural for them. That's why many of the Seventeen's standard features would be considered "hot-rodded" if they were on other hardware compressors. These features include a frequency-adjustable sidechain, separately selectable HPF/LPF and a dry/wet mix knob for onboard New York/parallel compression. Seventeen also includes stereo link functionality to link two units together.
