The Yamaha CLP725 is the first piano in the CLP series, making it one of the more affordable full pianos Yamaha makes. Don't think, however, that this is therefore "just" a simple piano. Despite its size and price, the CLP725 gives a beautiful sound, and its keyboard offers an excellent playing experience.
The piano features the GrandTouch-S keyboard with 88 keys and has a wide dynamic range. The Clavinova CLP 725 piano has two concert grand pianos as its base. These are samples of Yamaha's Yamaha CFX concert grand piano and the Bösendorfer Imperial. Both concert grand pianos have their own type of sound. One is bright and brilliant, the other a bit rounder and warm. When using headphones, you get to hear different samples (also from the Yamaha CFX) but sampled differently. Binaural sampling is a sampling method in which special microphones are placed on the head of a mannequin in the same positions as the pianist's ears to capture piano sounds as they sound in reality. Yamaha chose this method to create the ambience and full, natural resonance of acoustic pianos in Clavinova pianos. This makes pianists feel as if they are sitting at a grand piano, even when playing with headphones. The experience is so pleasant that they forget they are wearing headphones, no matter how long they keep playing.

Yamaha GrandTouch-S keyboard
The CLP-725's keyboard is the Yamaha GrandTouch-S keyboard. This new action gives a pleasing response allowing for precise control of tone. Of course, it also features "Graded Hammer," which means that the weight of the key slopes down from the bass side to the treble side. In addition, the GrandTouch-S action also has a perceptible deflection (escapement). This occurs when pressing a key on an acoustic piano or grand piano. This buckling or waste can be felt because the connection between the action and the key is broken.Big sound in small size
The Yamaha Clavinova CLP 725 has two built-in speakers measuring 12 cm in diameter. In addition, the CLP 725 uses a duo amplifier of 20 watts each. This means that each speaker has its own amplifier to make it sound as optimal as possible. The number and quality of speakers, along with the amplifier, is an important component in the digital piano. The bigger, the more, the better the quality, the nicer the sound coming out of those speakers. After all, you are hearing a sound recording of an acoustic piano and it comes out best when there is a lot of air moving around. The power of the amplifier and speaker creates a richer fuller sound. The volume can also be increased as a result, however, the pianist ultimately determines the volume!Specifications
