When will my order be delivered?
If you order on business days before 14:30, we’ll ship your order the same day. Normally, you’ll receive your order on the next business day (pallet shipments excluded). We always deliver as quickly as possible, but please note we depend on our carrier and can’t influence every step of the process.
Pallet shipment
If your order is too large for a standard shipment (for example, a living-room piano), we’ll ship it on a pallet.
The pallet will be collected by the carrier on the next business day and—normally—delivered to you the day after pickup. Keep an eye on your tracking info! A pallet shipment can’t be delivered to a pick-up point.

Fast availability
Items ordered before 15:00 that are not in stock are usually ordered from our supplier the same business day. You can generally count on that, but please don’t pin us down to it—we depend on our suppliers.
Unknown delivery time
We get that you’re excited about the newest releases. Often these products appear in our webshop before they’re deliverable. That way, you already know they’re coming. You can place a pre-order at the listed price. If you see “unknown delivery time,” the product is temporarily unavailable. As soon as it’s deliverable and in stock again, we’ll update the message.
Want to pick up a product in-store? Give us a call and we’ll reserve it for you.
Who delivers my order?
We work with several carriers including DPD and UPS. For parcels over 32 kg and pallets, we use DHL. We also use our own couriers. You can also pick up your order at our store. All orders come with tracking; you’ll find the track & trace code in your online order overview.
Saturday delivery
Our carriers don’t deliver on Saturdays. Prefer Saturday delivery? Call our customer service at +31 (0)13-5288660.
Not home?
If you’re not at home, delivery will be attempted one more time. After that, you can pick up the parcel at a nearby collection point. Our carrier will inform you.
Delay
In exceptional cases, carriers may need longer than usual. Instead of 24 hours, it may take one or several extra days. Our goal is always to deliver as quickly as possible. If you haven’t received your order after three business days, please get in contact with us at +31 (0)13-5288660.
Can I cancel my order?
You can always cancel an order online unless the products have already been shipped. In that case, the return process applies. Please contact us as soon as possible to request the cancellation. If we’re closed, send an email to webshop@klundertmusic.nl with the subject ‘order cancellation’. Don’t forget to include your full name and order number. If the parcel has already shipped, you can always return it. We’ll make sure the purchase amount is refunded as soon as possible (don’t forget to include your IBAN).
How can I return my order?
Every product you order at Klundert Music comes with a 14-day viewing/consideration period starting the day after delivery. After 14 days, the purchase agreement is final. During these 14 days, we expect you to handle the product and packaging with care. Unbox carefully and/or use the product only as needed to decide whether you want to keep it.
Once you’ve registered your return, you have another 14 days to make sure it reaches us.

Can I reserve a product?
In principle, it is not possible to reserve a product. You can only secure a product by placing an order directly through the webshop.
Do you need the product today and want to make sure it doesn’t sell out? Then choose “Store Pickup” during checkout. We will have your order ready for pickup the same day.
Would you prefer to pick up a product at a later time? Please contact us by phone. In consultation, you can make a deposit (for example 10–20%). This way, the product will be reserved for you without having to pay the full amount immediately.
Why don’t we offer standard reservations?
In the past, reserved products were often not picked up. As a result, stock was unnecessarily blocked and it created additional administrative work. That’s why we now only work with orders or a deposit.
What is the warranty period?
We’re not fans of needless hassle. You want to know where you stand — fair enough. That’s why we give a solid High Five on almost everything in the webshop, because we stand behind our products. That means 5 years of warranty with minimal fine print and exceptions. (For used items, the warranty period is 3 months.)

What are the shipping costs?
Within the Netherlands and Belgium, we don’t charge shipping costs for online orders over €75.
If your order is under €75, shipping costs are shown during checkout.
For international delivery we charge different shipping rates depending on the destination country. These costs are shown during checkout.
Of course, you can also pick up your order in our store. Want to be sure it’s ready for pickup? Please get in contact with us and we’ll check it for you.

Why is my order shipped in a reused box?
Our suppliers deliver pallets to us daily. Often the packing materials and boxes are perfectly reusable. That’s why we ship as many orders as possible in reused boxes. This saves packaging costs (and keeps your price lower) and it’s sustainable. A win for us, for you, and for the planet. #doingitright
How about prices?
All prices in our store and webshop always include VAT and any recycling fees. Prices may be higher if your order total is under €75 (shipping is then added).
If your order is over €75, shipping within the Netherlands is free. For international deliveries, higher shipping costs apply.
Business customers within the EU who provide a valid VAT number and company registration can be supplied with a 0% VAT arrangement. Ask us about the possibilities. If you use this option, we are required to ship the goods or hand them over to a legal entity at our store. If shipped, we can only send to the address to which your VAT number is registered. For in-store pickup, you’ll need to show valid ID and sign the transport declaration.
Buying as a private customer outside the Netherlands but within the EU? Then the local VAT rate of the destination country applies. We’ll calculate the correct VAT in checkout (so the final price may differ slightly).
Lowest Price Guarantee: Klundert Music guarantees the lowest price. Found the same product from the same brand cheaper elsewhere? Show us and—where possible—we’ll match the price.
Can I trade in gear with you?
Want to trade something in? You can! Trading in your instrument or equipment at Klundert Music comes with many benefits.
When you trade in with us, you do it at a reliable place, you get honest advice, and you receive the compensation for your instrument right away. Give us a call or drop by!

Online as well
Can’t make it to the store to discuss your trade-in? Then you can submit a proposal with photos. Please include:
- Photos of the instrument from all angles
- Photos of the serial number
- Photos of any damage or signs of use

Trade proposal
A swap proposal—e.g., a guitar for another guitar—is something we generally don’t do. But if you truly have a special piece, you can always ask.
Before you submit a swap proposal, please consider the following:
- Think about whether your trade-in proposal is balanced. If your instrument is worth more than what you want to buy, it might be smarter to sell your instrument first and use the money to buy the cheaper one.
- Looking for the absolute top price when trading in? Try selling it yourself first. If that doesn’t work, you can trade it in with us and we’ll sell it for you. Note: we never add money on top and we don’t pay extra in a swap.
Purchase proposals
We generally don’t buy instruments outright.
Sometimes you might have a whole batch of instruments, or you want to part with gear from someone who stopped making music.

Market vs. trade value
When you want to trade something in, we’ll make an offer based on the trade value. That’s different from market value. We need to resell the product and provide warranty after sale, which comes with costs—so we have to factor that in.
What don’t we accept for trade-in?
Please note: sometimes we don’t accept trade-ins. There are conditions, and trade-ins are always by agreement with one of our staff.
- Instruments and equipment over ten years old are generally not accepted. We sometimes make exceptions for guitars—specific models may be considered depending on condition.
- Accessories like bags, cables and stands are not accepted.
- Computer-related products such as software and audio interfaces are not accepted.
- Defective instruments and equipment are not accepted.
- Instruments and equipment with excessive deferred maintenance are not accepted either.
What is B-stock?
A product is B-stock if we can no longer sell it as new. For example: the packaging is damaged or missing, it was used as a showroom demo, or it has (light) signs of use. Of course, the product functions perfectly and is in very good condition!

Do you offer repairs?
Anything used intensively will eventually break or need adjustment—even high-quality gear. Our in-house experts know how precise this is with your instrument or equipment. Luckily, we’ve got the craft in our fingers. Literally.

Note: our repair department is exclusively for our own customers and relations. We do not repair products that were not purchased from us.
Do you offer a lowest price guarantee?
At Klundert Music you pay the same price in-store as online. So you always pay the lowest price.
Are we always the absolute cheapest? Usually yes, sometimes no. But we do much more than just ship a box!
We’re here to answer all your questions and offer advice. And we provide 5 years of warranty on our products (High Five!). We pick up the phone when you call, and you can always stop by if you want to know more. Our web and store doors are always open.
Bought something and not completely satisfied? We’re here for you then as well. We believe in collaboration—and we’ve been doing that since 1986.
Cheaper elsewhere
We try to match the lowest prices in the Netherlands. Why would you pay more with us?
Unfortunately, online prices can fluctuate daily. It can happen that our prices haven’t been adjusted yet.

Can you help with a business order?
Are you looking for one or more products on behalf of a company, school or institution—and want to order on account? That’s possible.
Tell us by phone or email what you’d like to order and we’ll arrange the rest. We don’t use standard business discounts,
because margins vary greatly by product. Of course, we’ll make you a sharp quote for your company or organization.

Do you also offer international shipping?
At Klundert Music we help musicians all over the world. We want to make sure your gear is delivered safely and on time—and that you get the right price information.
Delivery within the EU (consumer)
Deliveries within the EU are straightforward. Transport is relatively inexpensive and easy to arrange. We’re required to charge the VAT rate of the destination country. This means you should contact us so we can quote you correctly. It’s quick—send your shipping address and we’ll handle the rest.
If you order as a consumer, you’ll receive a quote including your local VAT.
Prices on our webshop include 21% VAT, except sheet music which is 9% VAT.
Delivery within the EU (business, intra-Community)
Have a valid VAT number and is your company located within the EU? Then we can invoice ex VAT. You’re responsible for VAT in your own country. We’ll verify your VAT number in the VIES register. Please ensure your VAT number appears correctly there; otherwise we can’t supply intra-Community.
Send us a message with what you’d like to order and we’ll reply right away with an intra-Community quote. We can include a payment request so you can pay easily from abroad (iDEAL, Bancontact, Credit Card, SEPA, PayPal).
Delivery outside the EU (consumer & business)
Orders outside Europe involve local taxes and duties which vary by country. Contact us so we can find the most cost-effective and reliable shipping option. Tip: include your delivery address so we can calculate shipping immediately.
