Privacy Statement

This is the privacy statement of Klundert Muziek B.V., located at Bedrijfsweg 13, 5061 JX Oisterwijk (hereinafter: Klundert Music), www.klundertmusic.nl.

Applicability

This privacy statement applies to all privacy-sensitive information or personal data that you provide to us, for example via a registration form, contact form, or orders you place. We attach great importance to the privacy of our customers and therefore handle and protect personal data with the utmost care. We process data in accordance with the conditions set by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Klundert Music is the controller within the meaning of the GDPR with regard to the processing of your personal data. This means that we alone determine which personal data are processed, for what purpose and in what manner. We are responsible for ensuring that your personal data are processed properly and carefully, in accordance with the GDPR. In this privacy statement we explain which data we process and for which purposes they are used.

Purpose and legal bases for processing personal data

By agreeing to this privacy statement, you give explicit consent within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR for the processing of your personal data for the purposes stated below. You may withdraw this consent at any time. However, if you do not provide certain data to us or do not allow us to process them, we may be unable to serve you properly.

If you have not given us explicit consent to process your personal data, or if you have withdrawn such consent, the legal bases of Articles 6(1)(b), (c) and/or (f) GDPR may apply. In that case, processing of your personal data may take place without your consent, provided this is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, necessary for the protection of Klundert Music’s legitimate interests, or because we are subject to a legal obligation to process your personal data.

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Google Analytics: this website places cookies from the American company Google as part of the “Analytics” service. Klundert Music uses this service to obtain reports on how the website is used and to measure quality and effectiveness. We use Google Analytics in the manner prescribed by the Dutch Data Protection Authority so that it falls under the exception in the cookie law and we therefore do not need your prior consent to use Google Analytics.

Reviews – WebwinkelKeur

We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this data solely for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties to provide its services; we have granted WebwinkelKeur permission for this. All safeguards mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data likewise apply to those parts of the service for which WebwinkelKeur engages third parties.

Access, rectification or erasure

You have the right to access, rectify or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data processing, or to object to the processing of your personal data. You have the right to data portability if we hold digital personal data that we process either with your consent or to perform a contract we have concluded with you.

This means that you can submit a request to us to send the digital personal data we store about you in a readable computer file to you or to another organisation named by you.

You can send a request for access, rectification, erasure, data portability of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to webshop@klundertmusic.nl

To ensure that the request for access was made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document along with the request. In this copy, please black out your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

We also wish to point out that you have the option to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
