The Medeli DP460K is a very versatile piano. The weighted keyboard emulates the touch of a real acoustic piano and has a very dynamic response. This allows you to truly play this instrument with feeling, allowing you to express real expression. The 4-way speaker system gives a wonderful representation of the piano sound in true stereo as you would expect from an acoustic piano. An acoustic piano has strings with a low sound on the left and strings with a high sound on the right, and this is how you hear the tone. This is imitated very neatly in the DP460.
But what makes this piano especially special in its price range is the ability to play with different sounds, and the possibility to accompany yourself with a style. For example, choose the style pop8beat and play along with a pop rhythm while the piano follows your left hand for accompaniment. Or play along with one of many iconic songs to increase your playing pleasure, and/or give your learning effect a gigantic boost.

The Medeli DP460K

The Medeli DP460K is the bigger brother of the DP420K. The DP460K offers more of everything such as greater polyphony, more sounds, a GM bank and the ability to write data away to a USB stick. The DP460K features a well playable, fully weighted keyboard. The keyboard is easily playable by pianists of any level. The K8 keyboard has 3 sensors making it even more responsive to the player.

More than just a piano

the instrument is equipped with a GM bank, it also has the ability to play Standard MIDI Files (SMF files). It is also possible to record audio files in MP3 format, each sound played is recorded and saved in MP3 format on a USB stick. The instrument is equipped with automatic accompaniment with 50 styles so that a variety of musical styles can be played.

The MIDI inputs and outputs can be used to connect the piano to external MIDI devices and computers. With a USB adapter cable, it is possible to connect the piano to an iPad and, for example, use it with an app such as PianoDoReMi. The USB connection can also be used as an audio interface so that audio can be sent via USB to recording software in the computer.
