An awesome electronic drum kit in Yamaha's DTX series. This the slightly more modest version of the flagship mods, the DTX10. An electronic drum kit with the look and feel of an acoustic kit. Equipped with real birchwood shells made in the same factory as Yamaha's acoustic drum kits, this kit combines the visual splendor of acoustic drumming with the endless possibilities of electronic drumming. In doing so, of course, you benefit from Yamaha's multiple decades of experience in both acoustic and electronic instruments! This kit uses the DTX-PRO module and has more than 700 sounds on board with which Yamaha has already created 40 preset kits, with room to create 200 more yourself. The "room ambience" makes all the sounds sound extremely realistic and was recorded in world-renowned studios. With the Kit Modifier and LED rotary faders you can quickly adjust the sound of your kit or add effects and compression to make everything sound the way you want it! This kit features Yamaha's Mesh skins on the snare and toms, and 3-zone cymbals for optimal playing feel.

Beautiful acoustic kettles
The kettles of this kit are made of birch wood and, like the lugs, hoops and badges, come from the same factory where Yamaha builds their acoustic drum kits. Fat! All of this hangs from the RS8 rack. The look and feel of this kit will therefore appeal to many a drummer. Yamaha's Mesh skins are on the snare and toms and a 7.5-inch rubber pad with Multi layer cushion on the bass drum.
Delicate cymbals
All cymbal pads have 3 playing zones. The rim, center and bell all sound different and the cymbals have a choke and mute function. The 17-inch ride features Hit Point Detection function for an even more realistic playing feel. All of the drummer's subtle cymbal work is accurately converted using the high-definition samples in the DTX-PRO module.
Everything a drummer needs
Yamaha's DTX-PRO module is suitable for all situations. From playing at home to live performances and recordings. The module has 8 separate outputs and a matrix where you can control the routing to each output. The AUX input can be used to receive the monitor signal from a PA system. Via USB, it can be wired to a computer or smart device to send and receive audio and MIDI. Furthermore, it is equipped with MIDI in/out for connection to MIDI devices. You can also easily connect your smart device via Bluetooth to play music.
Record, edit and share via the app
The DTX-PROX is compatible with Yamaha's Rec'n'Share App for iOS and Android. With this app, you can easily play along with your favorite tracks. You can even change the tempo of these tracks, put a click track underneath or cut and loop a part of it. This makes practicing even more efficient! As if that's not enough, the app also lets you record what you play, create your own drum video with your connected device, use the recorded audio while doing so, edit your video, adjust your mix and share the result!
