With the TD-07KV, Roland has created a compact and affordable kit that still has the feel of a high-end kit. The powerful TD-07 sound module is the heart of the TD-07KV. The module is packed with acoustic drum and percussion sounds that have been captured in professional studios down to the finest detail and brought to life through advanced V-Drums technologies. This ensures that these instruments behave just like their acoustic counterparts

A wide range of electronic percussion is also provided, plus far-reaching editing tools for personalizing each sound. You can easily change and tune drum sounds, add damping, change the playing environment, and use individual EQs and fluid editors to perfect studio-level sounds.The TD-07KV is equipped with Roland's legendary double-layer, mesh drumheads adjustable tension for the snare and toms. This gives you the most accurate feel and sensing available today. The PDX-8 (8-inch) snare pad has independent head and rim zones, to which you can assign different sounds. There are also three PDX-6A (6-inch) tom pads with one trigger zone

The kit also includes CY-8 12-inch pads for the crash and ride, a 10-inch hi-hat with an integrated pedal, and a KD-10 kick pad.The TD-07KV is built with strong materials and quality components. The custom drum stand provides a sturdy, stable base, while precision clamps hold all components in place. One of the main advantages of electronic drums in home use, is that they are much quieter than acoustic drums. The TD-07KV builds on decades of R&D. Mesh skins minimize impact noise on the pads, and special damping in the kick pad reduces vibration. Even the stand components are designed to reduce the transmission of vibration and noise to the floor. And Roland also offers a series of optional Noise Eater accessories to further reduce noise if needed

The TD-07KV makes it easy to have fun and be more productive, drumming along with lessons and favorite songs. Thanks to built-in Bluetooth, you can call up songs on a smartphone, tablet or computer; and listen to their audio wirelessly through the module located right next to the drums. MIDI transfer via Bluetooth is also supported, allowing drummers to wirelessly record MIDI data into music apps. Another great benefit of electronic drums is direct communication with modern music production software. Users can record discrete audio and MIDI drum tracks via USB into any Mac/Windows DAW, or trigger sounds from software-based drum instruments during studio or live performances

The TD-07KV also communicates with Melodics™: a Windows/Mac software application that offers a growing selection of free drum lessons, for developing rhythm, timing and muscle memory.Access to 40 lessons is free. While unlimited access to even more lessons is available through a subscription.The bass drum pedal shown in the images is for illustration purposes and is not included.
