Ormsby introduced the super deluxe GTR Elite series last year and we are most exited to introduce the highly anticipated follow-up of 2022's Hype Elite Coppertop. Behold, the Hype Elite II LTD. For the lovers if exotic woods, you have now reached nirvana!
The Hype Elite II features a very unique figured and rare Karelian Birch burl veneer top; a premium tone wood with an extremely limited availabillity. It is veneer finish in top of a black bound dark African mahogany body, which gives an amazing contrast to the light top. The exotic-wood-goodness does not end there though, as this Elite II features an insane 5 piece flamed maple - padouk - wenge set neck with a firgured birdseye maple fingerboard and a matching Karelian Birch headstock veneer. Crazy!
The pickups are a set of Ormsby Blizzard and Concordia humbuckers with coil split and as usual, this Hype features the custom multiscale bridge and locking tuners.
Needless to say, this insane Elite II will be available in super limited quantities; only 30 pieces available for Europe & UK. Includes "Elite" Ormsby hardcase.
