Making it's official debut at NAMM 2023, we are excited to receive the very first items of the newest range of guitars to the Ormsby lineup. The Factory Standard range is the first ever production series, handmade by the Ormsby team in Perth, WA. The ultimate Ormsby hybrid that combines an awesome production guitar mixed with the in-house Aussie quality that you'd usually only find in a custom!
The Ormsby Factory Standard range is set up similar to the current GTR production range, the only difference being they are fully handbuild from start to finish at Ormsby HQ rather than WMI (South Korea). All specifications for the Factory Standards are predetermined and unlike the Factory Custom and CustomShop sereis guitars, there will be no customisable options to choose from with this range.
Despite this however, Factory Standards are made in small numbers and every finish is unique. Behold the mighty 7-string Dragon Burst, an Ormsby favourite; there is litteraly not another example configurated like this and therefor a true one-of-a-kind!
The Factory Standard Hypemachine H3 is the top of 3 available tiers in the new Factory Standard Range. Each model will feature a Mahogany body with a premium Flame Maple cap with matching headstock, burst finish (gloss top, satin back and side), a 5piece Maple / Wenge bolt on neck, Ebony fretboard, the usual custom Ormsby hardware (multiscale bridge and locking tuners) in black plus Ormsby's own and in-house made Blizzard and Concordia pickups.
