Eastman SB59/v Goldburst

Like the T59/v for the thinline models, the SB59/v represents the top of the line for Eastman's solid body series. The guitar resembles the regular true tone SB59 in many ways but because of its aged varnish finish, the SB59/v not only has a different look, it sounds and feels truly different because of it; the varnish finish adds to the guitar's resonant, woody and lively tone. Not to mention; the SB59/v comes with a very nice set of pickups: Lollar Imperial Humbuckers. These medium output PAF-style pickups sound rich and creamy, open but also beautifully crumbly and traditional.

The SB59/v is made with a one-piece okoume body with a solid, carved flamed maple top and has a scale of 24.75". The neck is made of one-piece okoume topped with an ebony fingerboard (12" radius) and Jescar frets. All (slightly aged'te) hardware is by Gotoh with pots by CTS and a Switchcraft jack connector.
