HEADSTOCK & TUNERS:

The Super-Smooth Z tuners are not only extremely precise and super comfortable to use, they also allow you to hide the sharp string ends in the tuning shaft so they don't damage your case, gig bag or fingertips.

NECK & FRETBOARD:

String action, the height of the strings over the frets, can only be set low and comfortable if all the frets are exactly the same height. To achieve that, Duesenberg uses the ingenious Plek machine that levels all frets with an accuracy of 1/100 of a millimeter. Each fret is measured and cut individually to achieve optimal playability of the instrument. The finishing is done entirely by hand. Each fret is polished to perfection and all fingerboard edges are carefully rounded for a smooth feel.

PICKUPS:

The creamy Domino P90 in the neck position and the classically tuned GrandVintage Humbucker in the bridge form an all-around dream team that many have tried to emulate.
The acclaimed center position of the Heavy Duty 3-Way Switch features special wiring that filters out certain low-end frequencies from the humbucker signal. The result is an open, funky and extremely versatile addition to your tone palette.

SAPPHIRE DELUXE VIBRATO:

Duesenberg tremolos are known for their buttery smooth action, reliable tuning stability and string changes that are a breeze. The new Sapphire Deluxe Vibrato is the revised version of the Diamond Deluxe Vibrato and, as always with Duesenberg, it's all in the details; the new tremolo features a slightly curved tailpiece that sits closer to the body. In addition, the three-step design has been applied to the far edge of the tailpiece, all contributing to a more refined, streamlined design.

MAPLE & SPRUCE:

The Starplayer TV has a beautiful laminated spruce top. The neck is made from one piece of maple, and the beautiful flamed maple back shines elegantly through the black burst finish on the back.

NICKEL HARDWARE:

You'll find the geometric three-step in almost every part of Duesenberg instruments, from the curves on the headstock to the shape of the output jack. Compared to ordinary chrome finishes, nickel has a beautifully warm and elegant luster and ages naturally over time. It's the way things were done before chrome became the standard.
