Duesenberg and the Dropkick Murphys team up again for a unique new guitar, ready for any festival stage in the world.
Jeff DaRosa, the rock multi-instrumentalist and member of Boston-based punk band The Dropkick Murphys, has teamed up again with Duesenberg and together they have come up with this amazing guitar that has one pickup but three totally different sounds.
Jeff goes into more detail and tells us the following: "When we go into the studio, Tim likes to use his humbucker semi-acoustic guitar and James goes on the other side with his humbucker solidbody and I like to go straight up through the middle with a single coil sound. But I also need something that gives a kick-ass sound live on stage and my new Duesenberg Alliance Series does all this, so now I've found my perfect guitar."
Jeff DaRosa's Alliance Series has a single split/king pickup in the bridge. This pickup can switch between true humbucker and true single-coil mode. But it's not the split humbucker you might expect.
It actually contains a true singlecoil that can be expanded into a full humbucker with a second, specially designed coil to provide the best of both worlds. As a third option, the pickup can be put into an intermediate mode where both coils are mixed in a special way to give you even more flexibility.
The Alliance Series Jeff DaRosa is based on Duesenberg's Senior design, but comes in a breathtaking all over Catalina Green Burst finish with a nickel finished armsteum, Duesenberg "Wing" fingerboard inlays and a laser-etched single volume control.
This Alliance Series guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity, hand-signed by Jeff DaRosa, Duesenberg CEO Ingo Renner, and the luthier who completed the instrument.
