The Paloma came and conquered from the first moment Duesenberg first launched this model. Immediately it became one of the most popular models in the Duesenberg lineup and the Custom Black adds to that generously. A highly versatile offset solid body, HSH pickup configuration including Deluxe Tremola...that brilliant, quirky nod to a Strat may have been the missing link in the collection. The comfortably contoured body is made of alder, the neck of maple and has a rosewood fingerboard.
The Custom black exchanges the Grandvintage humbuckers for Split/King Duo-Coil pickups, combined with the familiar Pearlito Singlecoil for a very wide but absolutely unique sound character. This also makes us have the two mode switches in addition to the 5-way pickup selector to "split" the Split/Kings
