The SX Carved Top is back! The model that started the multiscale game for Ormsby over ten years ago hasn't been available in a run for a while now (since run 10 to be exact) and so we are thrilled to have managed to grab a few as part of a last minute addition to Run 16. And these are absolutely insane, featuring a few never-seen-before finishes and specifications!
The stylish design and classic contours of the SX makes this the most discreet model in the Ormsby line up. However, don't let looks deceive you as it is an ultimate super-strat and shred monster at the same time; it has an insane reach of 5 notes over the SECOND OCTAVE for the high E! These particular SX's from Run 16 feature a mahogany body with a 3-piece wenge neck and a wenge fretboard. This results in a fat and heavy tone of the mahogany body with agression and brightness of the full wenge neck.
Check out this Seafoam Green finish, fantastically paired with white pickup covers, chrome hardware and a wonderful match with the dark wenge neck.
