The RME Fireface UFX III is a professional USB audio interface and the successor to the Fireface UFX II. It is RME's flagship interface with 188 channels (94 in / 94 out), at 24 bit / 192 Khz.

The Fireface UFX III has SteadyClock FS, improved AD/DA and mic preamps, USB 3.0 and USB-C connectivity, internal DSP effects, and much more. And of course, the Fireface UFX III features RME's renowned low-latency hardware and driver design for flawless, (very) stable operation in any application. This 94-in/94-out unit is built for large-scale studio projects. The interface has four microphone preamps and 128 channels of MADI I/O. You also get direct USB recording, thanks to RME's DURec feature. The Fireface UFX III's internal DSP includes 188 channels of EQ and dynamics processing along with a reverb/delay bus, extensive control room capabilities and an automatic mic gain function. An extensive cache of plug-ins and standalone software applications adds even more value to this excellent interface. For multitrack recording, mixing, mastering, this RME Fireface UFX III is the perfect studio tool.The interface features Ultra-low-latency operation with USB and FireWire connectivity, combined with legendary RME stability and professionalism. The Fireface UFX III offers significant advances over its predecessor. For starters, this audio interface includes enhanced AD/DA, along with RME's state-of-the-art SteadyClock FS technology, allowing you to experience crystal-clear, jitter-free sound reproduction. The four enhanced mic preamps offer highly accurate audio recording with hi-gain capability. The interface features USB 3.0 and USB-C connectivity.

If you're working on large-scale studio projects, you'll appreciate the RME Fireface UFX III's complement of I/O. Four mic/line preamps and eight TRS line inputs provide plenty of analog connectivity, supported by two XLR outputs and six TRS jack outputs. Optical ADAT and AES/EBU digital I/O provide plenty of room for expansion. You also get 128 channels of MADI I/O for demanding large-scale applications. Dual headphone outputs and MIDI I/O round out the Fireface UFX III's abundant connections.

The Fireface UFX III is loaded with a powerful internal DSP. It features the powerful TotalMix FX internal digital mixer, which gives you completely independent routing and mixing of all input and playback channels from the audio interface to all physical outputs. Independent stereo submixes and a full control room section give you extensive monitoring capabilities and unparalleled routing flexibility. You also get 188 channels of EQ, 188 channels of dynamics processing, a reverb/delay bus and automatic mic gain. Plus, you can control the Fireface UFX III with TotalMix Remote software on your Mac, PC or iOS device.

Welke audio interface moet ik kiezen?

Weg is de tijd dat het producen en opnemen van een nummer alleen voor professionele studio’s is weggelegd. Weg is de tijd dat een audio signaal eerst op tape geprint moest worden en later weer vier keer gebounced om een volledige mix te krijgen.
