The Aguilar Octamizer DLX is a completely redesigned octave pedal for bass guitar, built on a new, proprietary DSP platform. This DLX version goes significantly further than its predecessor, offering more tonal possibilities, better tracking and a more natural playing feel. In addition to the familiar Octave Down, the Octamizer DLX now also features an Octave Up effect. Both octave effects track your playing instantly and tightly, with no audible delay. Separate Level and Filter controls are provided for each sound source - clean, octave down and octave up - so you can fine-tune the balance and character of your sound very precisely.
An additional switchable Filter mode adds a distinct synth-like character, ideal for solo accents, modern bass lines and funk-inspired grooves. In addition, you can fully add or completely omit the dry bass signal. If you turn off the clean sound, only the octave effects remain, giving a lot of creative freedom in both live and studio situations. With improved tracking algorithms, the Octamizer DLX responds smoothly and musically to every note, with a consistent sound across the entire register of your bass.
