While playing music from a CDJ media player and DJ mixer, the RMX-Ignite can simultaneously play its own beat, fully synchronized to tempo and grid. Think tight drum loops, such as classic 909-like sounds, that you effortlessly mix through your set. There is also a sampler section with twenty pre-loaded samples from Loopcloud. You can deploy these samples directly, or replace them with your own material via the RMX-Ignite Sample Manager software. Samples can be triggered, rolled into set rhythm patterns and dynamically modulated, allowing you to truly play live with your set rather than just mixing.

Comprehensive 3-Band FX Section
Effects are the heart of the RMX-Ignite. The unit features a 3-Band FX section, divided into low, mid and high frequencies. Per band you have two types of effects at your disposal: Lever FX and Isolate FX. With the large levers you activate Lever FX immediately and temporarily, similar to a "momentary" effect. If you pull the lever further, the effect remains active until you return it to the center position. The rotary knobs are linked to Isolate FX and give control over intensity and timbre, among other things. Because everything works by frequency band, you can add reverb or echo to only the high frequencies, for example, without making the lows muddy. This makes the RMX-Ignite great for tight, controlled builds and drops during a live set.

Hands-on operation and overview
The RMX-Ignite is clearly designed with live use in mind. Large levers, clear dials and performance pads allow you to intervene in your set without thinking. The color screen gives real-time insight into parameters, BPM, selected effects and loaded samples. This allows you to keep an overview, even in dark DJ booths or during intense moments in your set.

Integration with professional DJ setups
For DJs working with modern mixers, the RMX-Ignite offers digital send/return via USB in combination with the DJM-A9 and DJM-V10. With one cable, the unit is integrated into your setup while maintaining high sound quality. Of course, analog connections are also provided for wider compatibility. The internal audio architecture has been completely redesigned and delivers a clear, powerful and professional sound suitable for club and festival use.
