What does 176HP width mean with a Eurorack case?
In the world of modular synthesizers, the width of a Eurorack case is expressed in HP, which stands for horizontal pitch. This is a standard measure that indicates how much room you have to place modules. 1HP = 5.08 mm wide. So this 176HP case has an inside width of about 894 mm (176 × 5.08 mm).

Each Eurorack module also has a width in HP. For example, small modules are 4HP or 6HP wide, larger ones can be 20HP or more. So with a 176HP case, you can fit modules as long as their widths added together do not exceed 176HP. In the case of Arturia's RackBrute 6U, this means you have 176HP of space in one row. Because the case is 6HE high (so 2 rows of 3HE), you can fit modules on two levels - with a total of 352HP of space (2 × 176HP).
