Austrian Audio Hi-X65

The Austrian Audio Hi-X65 is a professional reference headphone for mixing and mastering, among other things. The Hi-X65 is an over-ear model, which means that the shells sit completely over your ears. The Hi-X65 has an open-back and therefore has a very analytical, detailed sound. Due to the fine cushions, the headphones are very comfortable, even during long listening sessions.

The headphone drivers of 44mm have a newly designed Hi-X technique (High Excursion), this ensures a nice, tight low-end reproduction.

Please note that these headphones are tuned for analytical audio reproduction. This means a flat response monitor sound. So do not expect deep full boosted bass and treble hi-shelf highs. These are not hi-fi headphones. These headphones are designed for critical mixing of your studio mix to get your sound well balanced.
