Base4Stands Arm 12" - Natural

The Base4Stands 12-inch Add-on Arm Natural is a short extension arm for the Base4Stands modular system. Compatible with all Base4Stands microphone stands, this add-on arm gives you additional options for positioning microphones, accessories or compact stereo setups from one stand. Each add-on arm can replace one traditional microphone stand in many situations.

Short arm for additional microphone positions
At 12 inches long, this add-on arm is ideal when you want to stay close to the source. Think additional microphones near kick drums, snare, guitar amps, percussion, acoustic guitar, strings, horns or seated performers. Which arm length works best depends on the position of the tripod in relation to the sound source. The 12-inch arm is especially useful for compact setups where precision and space saving are important.

Suitable for all Base4Stands stands
The 12-inch Add-on Arm can be used with Shorty, Sidekick, Solo and Big Tree. This makes it a practical extension when you want to expand your existing Base4Stands setup without immediately adding an additional tripod. You attach the arm to the tripod and instantly create an additional mounting point for a microphone or accessory.

Use with Shorty
On the Base4Stands Shorty, the 12-inch Add-on Arm accommodates additional microphones at kick drums, snare, tablas and amps. For example, you can record a kick drum with multiple microphones or build a snare top and bottom setup with fewer separate stands on the floor.

Use with Sidekick
On the Base4Stands Sidekick, you can use this arm for additional snare or kick mics, dual or stereo mic setups at guitar amps, Leslie speakers, double bass and seated performers. Also with percussion, guitar, horns and strings, the short arm provides a neat way to create additional microphone positions.

Use with Solo
On the Base4Stands Solo, the 12-inch Add-on Arm is suitable for singer-songwriter setups, piano recordings, acoustic guitar, percussion, vibraphone, horns, strings or accessories such as a phone or tablet holder. For example, you can use the arm on the side of a vocal setup to simultaneously microphone an acoustic guitar.

Use with Big Tree
On the Base4Stands Big Tree, you can use the 12-inch Add-on Arm for additional sources around drums, percussion, piano, horns, vocals and strings. The short arm is also useful for dual or stereo microphone setups, especially when you want to place multiple microphones from one central Big Tree setup.

Also usable as a fixed stereo width
With a second microphone mount, any Base4Stands add-on arm can be used as a fixed stereo bar. If you want to be able to adjust the width, you can add a pair of Stub Mounts. This turns the same arm into an adjustable solution for stereo recording, depending on the source and desired microphone spacing.

Natural
This version comes in the color natural. This gives the arm a recognizable aluminum look that matches Base4Stands stands in natural. The black connectors provide a clean, technical look that matches the Base4Stands series.
