Base 4 Stands Arm 20" - Natural

The Base4Stands 20-inch Add-on Arm Natural is an extension arm for the modular Base4Stands system. This arm is recommended for the Sidekick, Solo, and Big Tree and gives you extra reach for positioning microphones around drums, amplifiers, percussion, piano, horns, strings, and vocals. The 20-inch arm is not recommended for the Base4Stands Shorty.

Extra reach for larger microphone setups
With a length of 20 inches, this add-on arm provides 50.8 cm of reach for additional microphone positions. The arm is suitable for situations where a 12-inch or 16-inch arm does not provide sufficient reach, but you still want to position multiple microphones from a single central stand. Which arm length works best depends on the position of the stand relative to the sound source.

Compatible with Sidekick, Solo, and Big Tree
The 20-inch Add-on Arm is recommended by Base4Stands for all stands except the Shorty. You can use the arm with Sidekick, Solo, and Big Tree to create an additional microphone position without placing a new stand on the floor. This allows you to further expand your Base4Stands setup and keep more space free around musicians and instruments.

Use with Sidekick
On the Base4Stands Sidekick, you can use the 20-inch Add-on Arm around a drum kit for the kick drum, toms, and hi-hat. The arm is also suitable for dual or stereo microphone setups with guitar amplifiers and Leslie speakers. For seated performers, the extra length provides reach for percussion, guitar, horns, and strings.

Use with Solo
On the Base4Stands Solo, the 20-inch Add-on Arm provides extra lateral reach for placing microphones for two musicians sitting side by side. Think of seated or standing wind players, backup singers, and string players. The arm also offers additional placement options for percussion setups, stacked amplifiers, and dual or stereo microphone setups.

Use with Big Tree
On the Base4Stands Big Tree, you can use the 20-inch Add-on Arm for additional microphone positions around drums, piano, percussion, and groups with wind players, string players, or vocalists. The longer arm is also suitable for setups where you want to place two, three, or more microphones around the same sound source. This allows you to build an extensive multi-mic setup from a single central Big Tree.

Can also be used as a stereo bar
With a second microphone mount, any Base4Stands add-on arm can be used as a stereo bar with a fixed width. If you want to be able to adjust the distance between the microphones, you can add a pair of Stub Mounts. The Stub Mounts can be positioned along the arm, giving you more control over the width of the stereo setup.

Each add-on arm adds an extra microphone position to your Base4Stands setup. In many situations, the 20-inch arm can therefore replace a traditional microphone stand. This saves floor space and makes it easier to mic a drum kit, amplifier setup, or larger group of musicians without placing separate stands everywhere.

Finished in natural
This version isfinished in natural. This gives the arm a recognizable aluminum look that complements Base4Stands stands in the natural finish. The black connectors provide the distinctive Base4Stands look.
