The St. James 100’s come equipped with two distinct power valve types: 6L6 and EL34. You can easily toggle between these valve types in 50-Watt mode or combine both flavours for a unique 100-Watt experience, harnessing the qualities of both valve types. With continuously variable power reduction down to 5% power, you can preserve valve tone, feel, distortion and compression at any volume.

USB for pure valve tone in your recordings. XLR CabRig for stage brilliance without mics. And the 1/4″ output for that driven valve amp bliss through your headphones. A trifecta of sonic freedom. Collaborating with Celestion, Blackstar pioneered the extraordinary Zephyr lightweight speaker that still uses a traditional Ferrite magnet.

Candlenut plywood is used for strength, lightness and its beneficial acoustic proprieties, creating a roadworthy cabinet that sounds great and will last a lifetime. Combining modern SMPS technology for lightweight and universal voltage compatibility with the classic feel and response of traditional iron-core transformers, this innovation is poised to set new benchmarks for valve amplification.
