The Version 2 software update, packed with new features, provides even better performance and gives the DD-500 unprecedented flexibility. Even more control options have been added, with an improved A/B simultaneous mode for advanced routing, as well as new Series and Parallel modes. Five new effect types were added to the delay algorithms already in place, plus numerous updated common parameters for all modes. The update also includes numerous user-requested features, including additional MIDI control, new modulation types, a feedback loop function for inserting external effects, customizable input and output levels, selectable EQ position and more.
