The BOSS DS-2 features two modes for a wider distortion range from blues-rock rhythms to ripping solos, with one touch of the pedal or a turn of the knob. This pedal can also be controlled with your feet in combination with a footswitch.
The unique feature of this stompbox is the 2 distortion sounds in 1 pedal through the Mode switch. In Turbo Mode 1 you hear the classic distortion sounds with a round and balanced sound. The 2nd mode has an extra fiery distorted guitar sound with a solid boost at the middle tones which sounds extra nice during guitar solos.
