The BOSS LMB-3 smooths your sound by eliminating high volume peaks, even if you use a lot of slap and pop techniques. The Ratio and Threshold knobs allow you to adjust the Limiter parameters with extreme precision.
At the 1:1 setting no compression is added, at a ratio of 2"1 the incoming signal is compressed to half. These are just a few examples of how the Boss LMB-3 Bass Limiter Enhancer makes your bass sounds more beautiful than they already were.
