Effortless Creative Control
The ME-90B delivers everything a bassist needs, accessible through the classic BOSS ME interface for quick stompbox-style control. Each effect category has independent parameter knobs so you can tweak tones instantly. Manual Mode provides on/off footswitch control of each category, while Memory Mode lets you recall 36 custom multi-effect setups. Each footswitch has a different LED color for easy identification, and it is possible to set all LEDs to light up in a fixed color for each mode if desired.
Premium BOSS Effects
The ME-90B comes with premium selections from BOSS' base effects library, organized into six logical sections that can be used simultaneously. Apply essential sound-shapers such as compressors, pitch effects and filters. Explore more aggressive textures with drive and synth effects. Expand your sound with modulation, delays and reverbs. And dive into a variety of special effects via the built-in expression pedal. There's also a Blend button to mix in a touch of direct bass for clarity, plus there's a send/return loop to insert your favorite stompbox effects.

There's also an Acoustic-type optimized for electro-acoustic and upright bass pickups; plus there's an EQ-only option for clean DI tones.

With its versatile connectivity and compact battery-powered design, the ME-90B is ready for any playing scenario. The 1/4-inch outputs support mono or stereo operation, with quick optimization for stage amps or line-level devices via a switch on the rear panel. There is also an XLR jack with ground elevator to send a balanced DI signal to a PA. The ME-90B's pre-amps and effects deliver studio-quality sound for direct USB recording into music production software. And the headphone jack lets you silently hone your chops while jamming with backing tracks from a computer via USB.
Edit, Personalize and Expand
BOSS Tone Studio for Windows and macOS expands your creative range, allowing you to edit tones and change some amp and effect types with alternate selections. You can also organize memories for different performances, and supplement the built-in speaker IRs with three from your own library. When you're ready for new inspiration, log on to BOSS Tone Exchange to exchange Livesets with the worldwide ME-90B community. And the optional Bluetooth® Audio MIDI Dual Adapter lets you stream music from a mobile device and shape tones wirelessly with the BTS editor app for iOS and Android.
