The BOSS PH-3 is a modern phaser with tap tempo sync and the classic BOSS phasing effects including 4-, 8-, 10- and 12-stage phasers and new Rise and Fall effects.Tap tempo sync or Rate are both controllable via an external expression pedal
The classic multi-stage phasers each have selectable stages. Syncing this effect is easily accomplished by repeatedly pressing the pedal. The PH-3 is controlled by four control knobs. The Rate knob controls the rate of change in filter, the amount of the effect you control with the Depth knob, the RES determines the resonance of the effect and the Stage knob allows you to choose which phaser type you use
