Carl Martin spends quite a bit of his free time listening to old records from the 60s and 70s. Often he will find a record or an artist that will inspire him to create a new pedalboard. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 records or artists to fully develop an idea! Think back to Jimi Hendrix and the Band of Gypsies, Bridge of Sighs by Robin Trower, or almost anything by David Gilmour, and then open your creative mind to the Purple Moon! It took several years for Carl to be satisfied, because the Purple moon was developed with very creative guitarists in mind.

The Purple Moon is the only True Bypass, all analog, Vibe with Fuzz, and it's your ticket to creating the same classic guitar sounds that inspired Carl to create it. Like the rest of the pedals in the Vintage Series, the Purple Moon features a die-cast housing with its own special color, mini knobs for ease of use, high-quality circuitry and bright LEDs.

The Purple Moon is designed with extremely interactive setup options that connect the Vibe and the Fuzz. You can use the Vibe on its own by turning down the level of the Fuzz control, you can't use the Fuzz on its own. By putting the Fuzz circuit into the Vibe circuit, Carl has created tonal magic, you can create a clean vibe sound, a vibe sound with some fuzz in the background, or the Vibe in the background and maximum Fuzz. In any case, the vibe is always on when the pedal is activated , the fuzz can be turned off though. It's up to the creative guitarist to play with the various level, depth and fuzz knobs to create their own sounds!

BYPASS The on and off switch is high-quality and actually a True Bypass circuit, meaning that your guitar signal is not interrupted by the pedal when the effect is turned off. A blue LED lights up to indicate that the effect is activated.

SPEED The speed controls adjust the Vibe's speed. Turn the knobs counterclockwise for low speed and clockwise to increase the vibe.

DEPTH The Depth knob adjusts the depth of the Vibe, from mega-deep (counter-clockwise), to barely perceptible. The Depth knob works interactively with the other adjustment knobs smamen.

LEVEL The level controls the output of the Purple Moon. It controls the amount of Vibe you want in the signal. The level and the Fuzz knob are interactive to some extent, so don't forget to experiment!

FUZZ The Fuzz knob controls the amount of gain the fuzz gets, from almost inaudible to ridiculously much!

FUZZ LEVEL Adjusts the volume level of the Fuzz, it is used to set the amount of vibe in conjunction with the Vibe, turned fully to the left the fuzz is off.
