The Klon is a well-known and iconic overdrive and for good reason. A Klon provides a relatively transparent form of overdrive that not only preserves the sound of your amp but really makes it shine. Since the Klon is no longer being built, Cornerstone's Centurio is possibly the "next best thing"
The Cornerstone Centurio also offers two independent overdrive circuits. The "normal" acts as the more transparent overdrive and the "hot" gives you that more saturated midrange overdrive tone. This with independent volume controls and a brightswitch, makes the Centurio a very versatile pedal.

Hot Mode
The volume boost in Hot Mode activates a boost after the overdrive section. This feature adjusts the overall volume, allowing you to increase the output level without affecting the gain. This is ideal for enhancing your sound in the mix and provides clarity and presence during performances. This section can also lower the volume, with the default volume set at 40%. This allows you to keep the volume the same between the normal channel and the Hot Mode channel, even at different gain levels.
