The Cornerstone Imperium V2 is a versatile dual overdrive that brings together two iconic sounds: on one hand, the expressive, Dumble-like sound of Robben Ford, and on the other, the classic tube-screamer tones that remind you of the John Mayer Trio. And the best part? You can use the two circuits independently as well as stack them in two different sequences for maximum flexibility.
The pedal combines two popular Cornerstone circuits: the Antique on the left and the Gladio Single Channel on the right. Together they create a unique tone that is both powerful and dynamic, creamy yet bright, full without sounding muddy.
The Antique section offers four control knobs: Volume and Gain, Tone controls the mid frequencies and Presence controls the upper mid and high frequencies. There is also a Comp switch that adjusts the dynamic response of the pedal, from open and responsive to tighter and more compressed.
The Gladio side features: Volume, Gain and Tone. A Clean control, which allows you to blend the direct guitar signal back with the overdriven sound. This provides a transparent "clean layer" that enriches the overdrive character - perfect for that typical Texas blues sound. And a switch that lets you determine the order of both channels (Antique → Gladio or vice versa), which greatly influences your sound.
The Imperium V2 runs on a standard 9V DC power supply (not included) .
