Cranborne Audio C.A.S.T. Intro Bundle

With the C.A.S.T. Intro Bundle from Cranborne Audio, you instantly get a complete, smart Cat-5 audio solution in your studio or on stage. This kit turns standard network cables into high-quality analog audio lines, allowing you to keep cables tidy, handle longer distances and send multiple signals simultaneously without loss. The bundle includes everything you need to get started right away: the N8 distribution hub, N22 and N22H breakout boxes, two Cat 6e cables and mounting hardware.

The N8 is the heart of the system. Place it in your control room and connect it via DB25 to the I/O of your audio interface. The N8 converts that analog I/O to four C.A.S.T. connections that you can distribute throughout the room to the N22 and N22H units. Where you would normally have to run multiple XLR cables, a headphone amplifier and additional power, a single Cat cable replaces this entire route - up to distances of 100 meters.

Network cables are ideal for analog audio due to their high production standards. Thanks to the 4 twisted and shielded wire pair structure, you can transport up to four fully balanced channels over a single cable, with minimal crosstalk and no loss of quality. Moreover, Cat 5e/6/7 cables are cheaper and more readily available than traditional audio multicores.

C.A.S.T. technology is applicable to several Cranborne products and allows you to set up your studio routing in a plug-and-play fashion. With the Intro Bundle you immediately have two breakout boxes and the central hub available to set up a professional, neat and efficient signal distribution.
