The three springs of the spring reverb are driven by a power amplifier with plenty of headroom and a dynamic response. This ensures the springs are optimally activated, creating that characteristic, sparkling, and splashing sound.

The tremolo circuit is inspired by the classic tremolos found in 1960s tube amplifiers, which can be heard on countless iconic records. From subtle, flowing pulses to deep, amp-like rumblings: the White Whale JR brings the lively movement and authentic character of vintage amp effects to any modern pedalboard.
