The D'Addario EXL156 strings is a set of bass strings custom-made for the Fender Bass VI, tuned in E: an octave below a guitar in standard tuning.
Each string is made to the scale length and winding of the bass guitar but with guitar-size bale end for mounting on the Fender VI. All professional guitarists rely on the sound and quality of these strings. It is therefore the standard for most electric guitars.
