After more than 2 years of development and design Darkglass was able to bring the Exponent 500 to the market. And how well it turned out! As we can expect from Darkglass. High quality components, robust and clean design and of course killer sounds!

At first glance the Exponent 500 appears to be a pure amplifier with a power output of 500 watts and an undistorted output. But as soon as you connect the Exponent 500 to the Darkglass Suite (a free software package) the versatility of the Exponent 500 comes to the surface. With a choice of numerous Darkglass effects and speaker cabinets you can tweak this amp to your ultimate sound. The amp also offers the possibility to store various presets under one central button on the amp itself. So you do not always have to connect a device to the amp

The quick-pots of Darkglass are labeled A to E. By default they are programmed for a 4-band EQ. Through the Darkglass Suite you can change the functionality of these pots. For example, by assigning them to 5 controls for pedals in the signal chain.

4 Ohm, 8 Ohm, impedantie, watt, vermogen, pfff! Hoe zit dat nou eigenlijk? Waarom krijg ik die termen toch alsmaar naar mijn hoofd gesmeten? En is het wel belangrijk voor mij als muzikant? Goede vragen, het is een beetje ingewikkeld.
