The Darkglass Microtubes X is a tool that the modern bassist wants. It gives you a sound that allows you to use clean and distortion sounds in parallel
With this pedal you get control over all facets of the distortion spectrum; from high gain, mild overdrive to fuzz and everything in between. The equalizer section is fully controllable and with the high-pass frequency control you determine the cut-off frequency you want to distort. From 100Hz for a fuzzy tone to 1 kHz for a defined 'crispy' tone so you can be heard in the mix
The Drive control lets you control the amount of distortion and the Mix knob lets you choose the perfect blend between DI and distortion. The 'Mids' control gives a boost or a cut of +/- 12 dB in the 500 Hz range.
