The Darkglass MIDI Footswitch offers maximum flexibility and can be powered in several ways: via USB-C, a standard 9V DC center-negative power supply, a 7-pin MIDI connection, or directly through the footswitch jack of a compatible Darkglass amplifier. This allows for simple, clean cabling without compromising functionality.

To get started quickly, Darkglass provides ready-to-use MIDI profiles for various compatible products. Those who want more control can use the Darkglass Suite to create their own templates, program multiple layers, and compose complex MIDI commands.

The included 7-pin MIDI cable is specifically designed for Darkglass equipment, but the MIDI port also supports standard 5-pin MIDI cables. In addition, the footswitch can function as a MIDI Thru, allowing incoming MIDI signals to be easily routed to other devices.

This footswitch is also a direct replacement for the Darkglass Super Intelligent Footswitch and can be passively powered via compatible Darkglass equipment.
