This glass slide provides a warm, thick tone that accentuates the middle harmonics of your sound. This 218 slide has a fairly thick wall thickness and a medium diameter.
You use a slide to produce extra warm sounds. The glass slide is placed around the ring finger and can be used to strike the strings. The glass thickness of the 218 is 4.5mm.
The Dunlop 218 is almost identical to the 215, both have an inner dimension of 20mm and an outer dimension of 29mm. Only the 218 glass slide has a length of 51mm.
