The Dunlop 272 Blues Bottle Slide is a glass medicine bottle slide that perfectly brings the classic blues sound to life. Hand-blown from seamless Pyrex glass, this slide offers a crisp, direct tone. Thanks to its closed end and smart weight, the slide is perfectly balanced on your finger.
The Dunlop 272 comes in medium size and fits ring size 10. Compared to models 275 and 276, this slide has a thinner wall, giving it a slightly lighter feel and a slightly more transparent sound. The shape is based on the original bottleneck slides as they were once used in the southern US - when blues musicians would slide old medicine bottles over the strings for that distinctive, expressive tone.
