A well-maintained fingerboard not only gives your guitar a sleek look, but also contributes to the playability and longevity of the instrument. The Dunlop 6502 System 65 Guitar Fingerboard Kit is the ideal solution to thoroughly clean and care for your guitar's fingerboard.

Optimal care for rosewood, pau ferro and ebony
Anyone who plays regularly knows that dirt, sweat and grease accumulate on the guitar fingerboard. At the same time, woods such as rosewood, pau ferro and ebony can dry out over time. This not only makes the fingerboard more difficult to play on, but can also lead to cracks in the wood in the long run. This maintenance kit from Dunlop prevents that problem and restores the natural look of the wood.

Step by step to a fresh and smooth fretboard
Start by removing the strings so you can easily access the fretboard. Spray some of bottle 01 (Cleaner & Prep) on the cotton cloth provided and rub the fretboard thoroughly. Pay extra attention to the areas around the frets where dirt easily accumulates. Next, apply a conditioning oil with bottle 02 (Deep Conditioner). The soft felt at the top of the bottle allows you to distribute the oil evenly over the fretboard. Let the oil take effect for a few minutes and then remove the excess residue with the cloth. Result: a nourished, clean and pleasantly playing fretboard with a subtle protective layer against moisture and dirt. The included Micro Fine sanding pad is specially designed to sand up slightly oxidized or rough frets, so that they too look neat and feel smooth while playing.

The Dunlop 6502 Fingerboard Kit is an indispensable kit for any guitarist who wants to keep their instrument in top shape. Especially suitable for guitars with rosewood, pau ferro or ebony fingerboards. With this kit you will ensure that your fingerboard not only looks clean and well cared for, but also continues to play pleasantly.
