The DW 5500DXF is a medium-heavy hi-hat stand with rugged double-leg construction and an extended footboard. Designed for drummers who demand maximum stability, control and smooth response. The tubular joints feature hinged memory locks, a side cymbal seat and a DW locking clutch, so your hi-hat always responds tightly and reliably. The folding footboard remains attached to the base during transport, allowing for quick and easy setup and storage. Two 15" and 21" pull rods are included as standard, so you can effortlessly match the height to any kit setup.

Precise adjustment for optimal response
The adjustable hi-hat base allows you to precisely adjust the position of the lower cymbal for the desired sound and playing response. The sturdy locking clutch prevents backlash and ensures that your hi-hat always feels stable and controlled. The Delta hinge with ball bearings ensures a smooth and direct pedal action, while the pivoting legs create plenty of room for dual pedals or additional hardware.
