Earthquaker Devices Afterneath V3

The Earthquaker Devices Afterneath V3 is an ambient reverb pedal that sounds like what it looks like: like a mysterious wizard lives in a cave in a box. You are that wizard, and your guitar signal forms the vast, magical cave.

As soon as you step inside, you catch a glimpse of an unknown light source that makes a strange sparkle dance across the cave wall. Carefully you approach the rock wall. When you place your hand on it, you feel how the stone begins to move. The cave is alive!

Startled, you let out a cry. Your voice echoes through the underground landscape, gradually transforming into a swarm of short digital delays that form into wild, hollow reverberations or into scattered, short, rhythmic delays with a character all their own.

Version 3 features new graphics and swapped Reflect and Drag controls. In addition, below the Drag button you will now find an additional Mode button. This lets you choose the mode for an expression pedal (optionally available) or a CV source, allowing you to manipulate reverb and delay even further. The pedal defaults to "tail mode," meaning the effect sounds out naturally after you turn it off.
