Wow! Look at this super limited '63 Custom Shop Stratocaster in a Journeyman Relic finish from the Fender Custom Shop Event. Once every year Fender throws an event for European dealers to participate in. And guess what; We managed to fetch this awesome Strat!
“Absolutely Stunning” merely begins to describe the beauty of this incredible Stratocaster. The 3 tone sunburst body is really something else with it's sparkle finish!
The lower output pickups offer a wide dynamic range and touch responsiveness. The dark Rosewood fretboard has been dressed with narrow tall skinny 6105 frets, and smoothed to a 9.5” radius contributing to its easy playability. The hand wound early 60s pickups have been wired into a Vintage Modifed#2 Wiring whereas one tone controls the bridge pickups, and the other controls the neck and middle pickups, all routed through a 5-way selector switch.
