Hiwatt Super-Hi 33 Head

The Hiwatt Super-Hi 33 Head delivers the same brutal high-gain architecture as the larger Super-Hi 50, but with slightly more compact power and the distinctive punch of 6V6 tubes. Based on the legendary Custom Super-Hi designed by Mike Fortin, this amp combines Hiwatt's bright and dynamic output stage with a cascaded gain preamp designed to be the ultimate modern gain machine.

With two separate channels, both equipped with gain and volume controls, and an independent Super-Hi boost, you have a total of four levels of overdrive and volume at your fingertips. From solid crunch to massive meltdown - the Super-Hi 33 always delivers tight and defined sound.

Thanks to the quiet and transparent post-preamp FX loop, modulation and delay effects remain crystal clear, even when the preamp is fully opened up. The 6V6 power tubes provide 30 watts of power with solid and controlled low end, ideal for rehearsals, studio and smaller stages, without sacrificing the typical Hiwatt punch.

The Super-Hi series was quickly picked up by sound purists such as Josh Elmore (Cattle Decapitation), Brian Fallon (The Gaslight Anthem) and Ben McLeod (All Them Witches). With the Super-Hi 33, that iconic high-gain sound is now available in a more compact, accessible head.
