The HT Instruments HTA102 is a digital decibel meter for measuring and recording sound pressure levels in a variety of environments. This sound level meter is suitable for sound measurements in workspaces, rehearsal rooms, venues, installations, educational environments and technical applications where you want a quick and reliable understanding of sound levels.

With a measurement range of 30 to 130 dB and a frequency range of 31.5 Hz to 8 kHz, the HTA102 provides a clear picture of the sound level present. The meter supports both A-weighting and C-weighting, allowing you to make measurements to suit different measurement purposes. A-weighting is often used for measurements that match the human hearing experience, while C-weighting is suitable for broader sound measurements with more focus on low frequencies.

Measures in accordance with IEC61672-1 Class 2
The HT Instruments HTA102 measures in accordance with IEC61672-1 Class 2. This makes this decibel meter suitable for control measurements of sound levels, sound exposure and ambient noise. The 0.1 dB resolution ensures accurate readings, while the backlit digital display remains easy to read in less well-lit areas. The meter features Fast and Slow measurement. With Fast, the meter responds quickly to changes in sound level, while Slow gives a quieter reading with changing sound sources. So you choose the measurement method that suits the situation.

Data logging and PC connection
An important plus point of the HTA102 is the internal memory for 32,700 measurement values. This allows you to record measurements and analyze them later. The measurement interval is adjustable from 1 to 59 seconds, allowing you to tailor recording to short checks or longer measurement times. Via the mini-USB connection, you connect the decibel meter to a computer. In combination with the included SoundLink software, you can read out measurements, view them graphically and save data as a text file. This makes the HTA102 interesting for users who not only want a snapshot, but also want to document measurement results.
