With the handytraxx tube J, Korg brings that feeling back. This powerful, portable turntable allows you to enjoy true vinyl experience anywhere. The combination of a string drive, DC servo motor, integrated phono amplifier and flexible power supply makes this a complete mobile system.

Compared to the standard handytraxx tube, the J version comes with the Clipper MM cartridge from Japan, developed by Jico. The use of Korg's Nutube technology takes this turntable to the next level. The Nutube provides adjustable tube characteristics full of analog warmth directly integrated into the phono preamp. With versatile playback capabilities, USB audio (2-channel), built-in speakers and extensive counterweight and tone arm adjustment options, classic hi-fi magic is at your fingertips everywhere.

Please note that the tone arm of the handytraxx tube J has a universal connection. Replacing the headshell or fitting another MM element or ceramic element is possible, but please inquire with us about the (im)possibilities first!

Nutube character: tube warmth in a compact size
The Nutube vacuum tube is at the heart of the handytraxx tube J. This technology is based on Noritake Itron's VFD technology (1966) and offers the same authentic triode structure as a traditional tube, but with less power consumption and a compact design. The result is a warm, full and expressive sound that directly emphasizes the analog DNA of vinyl. With the Tube control, you add up to 6 dB of gain, setting your own desired harmonic color.

Jico Clipper MM element: balance, precision and historic craftsmanship
Korg collaborated for this model with Japan's Jico, a company with more than 50 years of experience in analog playback technology. The Clipper is Jico's first fully in-house designed MM element and was developed with modern listening needs in mind. Its name and design were inspired by Pan American Airways' "Clipper" travel class. Like this iconic aviation innovation, the element combines an elegant look with technical sophistication. The centrally located "tailfin" finger elevator provides perfect balance. The tapered S-shaped cantilever reduces mass at the stylus tip and increases dynamics and output. The tapered 0.12 mm ND solid diamond needle delivers a clear and natural soundstage, while the ApexGlide headshell positions the stylus precisely between the left and right groove for pure stereo reproduction.

Whether you're playing old classics or exploring new releases, the handytraxx tube J puts you in control of your listening experience. The 2-band EQ (Bass and Treble) is tailored specifically to the typical characteristics of vinyl. Three speeds - 33-1/3, 45 and 78 rpm - and an included EP adapter make virtually any record playable.

USB functionality: digitize your collection
Korg understands that analog and digital can coexist seamlessly. The USB-2.0 connection (Type-B) supports 2-channel PCM audio up to 48 kHz/16-bit. So you record your records directly, including EQ settings and Nutube character, or transmit the signal to another system.

Solid engineering in a portable design
Beneath the sturdy casing lies a carefully crafted combination of audio engineering. The string drive, DC servo motor and cast aluminum platform are supported by software that constantly monitors rotation speed and pitch. As a result, your music always sounds stable and accurate. The built-in phono amplifier offers Line and Phono outputs, so you can effortlessly pair the turntable with virtually any setup.

Listen anywhere thanks to smart, mobile design
The handytraxx tube J is designed for safe transport and practical use. The sturdy dust cover fits seamlessly and forms a comfortable handle together with the case. You can choose mains power (with included adapter and five interchangeable plugs) or completely cable-free use on six AA batteries. Internal latches hold the tray and EP adapter in place, while the adjustable counterweight ensures precise tracking during every listening session.
