LD Systems HPA 2

The LD Systems HPA 02 is a 2-channel headphone amplifier that makes monitoring simple and flexible. The two line inputs feature independent gain control and can be connected via a standard 6.35 mm jack or a terminal block. The HPA 02 has two headphone outputs and two line outputs via 6.35 mm TRS jacks, plus two additional 3.5 mm headphone outputs connected in parallel. For group listening situations, multiple units can be easily looped through. Signal and clip indicators ensure that you always have an overview.

Configuration switches allow you to have two users listen to the same stereo signal with separate volume control, or alternatively send two separate mono signals per channel so that the HPA 02 works as two independent headphone amplifiers. In addition, you can set whether both volume controls control separate headphone volumes, or whether one controls the overall headphone volume and the other acts as the monitor output level.

The HPA 02 works with both high-impedance and low-impedance headphones from 16 ohms and up. Thanks to the capacitor-free output design, the frequency response always remains stable no matter what type of headphones you use.

Its compact size (106 x 44 x 225 mm) and the included mounting plates allow the HPA 02 to be built in unobtrusively. In addition, it fits into a 1/4 19-inch rack. With the optional racktray, place up to four TICA models side by side and build a complete set-up with minimal rack space.
