The Byzance Vintage Smack Stack features three B20 bronze discs shaped to create a distinctive sound effect. The stack can be adjusted by changing the tension of the wing nut on the cymbal stand. Higher tension produces a sharp attack and short decay, ideal for fast accents, while a looser setting provides a longer sustain. Works well in combination with a snare drum for enhanced backbeats, or as an alternative to your snare. The cymbals are available in 10", 12", and 14" sizes.

Byzance Vintage
The ByzanceVintageseries is crafted with aging in mind and features unique characteristics that simulate the aging process of a cymbal, blending vintage tones with modern appeal. The Vintage line originated with the Sand Ride, a flagship cymbal developed with Meinl Cymbals artist Benny Greb; it now encompasses a wide range of cymbals that have helped define the Meinl sound. Made in Turkey from B20 bronze and hand-hammered into shape. Sand models feature narrow rims and a sandblasted finish, while Vintage Pure models are unvarnished and unfinished.
