The Meinl SB305 brush is a thick, nylon brush with a high flexibility that gives it a lot of "slap." The zig-zag blades provide an extra percussive effect and by moving the rubber ring you can bundle the brush more or less. This makes this a perfect brush to use on cajon, but equally a cool condiment on a regular drum kit.
The SB305 brush has a length of 36.3 cm and a thickness of 22mm and falls into the "medium-heavy" weight category.
