Midi Solutions Power Adapter

The MIDI Solutions Power Adapter provides power to MIDI Solutions devices when it is not available via MIDI or when multiple devices are daisy-chained. Through the MIDI Thru output, one adapter can power up to 20 MIDI Solutions units. The Power Adapter is equipped with an optically isolated MIDI In, a MIDI Thru and a connection for a 9V adapter (suitable for 9V AC or DC, with standard 2.1 mm barrel connector, minimum current 50 mA).

In addition, the Power Adapter can be used to transmit MIDI signals over long distances. Depending on the cable used and environmental conditions, the signal can be transmitted over lengths of up to approximately 1,200 meters. For optimal results, it is recommended that a Power Adapter be used on both the transmit and receive sides.
