The MXR Tap Tempo Switch is a great way to control the tempo of many different delay and modulation effects. The tip/ring configuration works with any instrument or pedalboard cable to easily connect it to your pedals. It comes in a small case that fits well among the other pedals on your board. And it's extremely ruggedly built to handle years of stomping without getting damaged.
note: depending on the delay pedal you connect the M199 to, you'll use a normal 6.3 mm mono jack instrument cable or a 6.3 mm TRS jack cable.
